Plastic considered today as the origin of all evils, thanks to reuse and recycling can become an important protagonist in this operation, which must however be supported by a work of educating the consumer in differentiating the various types of plastic.

We converters and producers of plastic films must also do our part, first of all convincing our customers to use recycled plastic bags and films, then reduce the amount of plastic by decreasing the thicknesses and try to eliminate polyethylene couplings with materials that would the product more recyclable

In practice, what is Eurone doing in this context?

It promotes the use of high-density polyethylene bags which, thanks to the molecular structure of this film, can reach 8 microns in thickness with a significant reduction in the plastic used
It has activated a pressure on customers for the use of recycled polyethylene bags creating the aforementioned circularity
It has installed a machine for the production of pre-stretched stretch film that allows to supply stretch films with a thickness of 8/10 microns, reducing the weight of the film used up to 30% compared to the traditional 23 microns

These activities, in addition to representing our sensitivity towards the environment, are essential to ensure a future for the company that lives with plastic and which will have to operate with less plastic and recycled plastic.
